Obituary of Linda Jean Geddes

Linda Jean Geddes 1944 - 2016 It is with deep sorrow that the family of Linda Geddes announces her passing on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Cranbrook at 71 years of age. Linda was born on June 20, 1944 in Cranbrook. She was employed with British Columbia Telephone Company (BC Tel) for 34 years where she made numerous friends. Linda was an active member of the Cranbrook Golf Club for over 50 years, volunteering in many capacities. She also volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society. Linda was an avid bowler. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Linda is survived by her brother Brian (Brenda) Geddes, nephews Cam (Eryn) Geddes and children Reid and Lydia and Chris (Dana) Geddes and children Calem and Logan. She was predeceased by her parents Reid and Enid Geddes and her sister-in-law Sandi Geddes. To celebrate Linda's life, please join us in a gathering of friends and family in the Founders Room at the Cranbrook Golf Course on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
