Obituary of Jon Dean Majkowski

It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of Jon Dean (Jay) Majkowski, who left us on Sunday, July 21, 2024. He was 41 years old. Born in South Korea and growing up in Cranbrook, Jay will be remembered for building a life with a sense of humour and intelligence. Working as a local Real Estate Agent, he loved to play golf with his son, family and friends. He enjoyed meeting and talking with new people and chatting with old friends. Loved by his son Brayden, parents John and Victoria, brother Dean, sisters Monique and Anna, niece Veronica, and loving girlfriend, Nara Lee. Jay will always be loved by his many aunts, uncles, and abundance of cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday August 1, 2024 at 11 am at Knox Presbyterian Church; 2100 3^rd St. S. Cranbrook BC V1C 1G2. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army in Jay’s honour.
