Dear Monique and Anna, sorry to hear about your brother who I always thought of as really kind and a good soccer player. From Naomi Myers and the Myers family.

I moved to Cranbrook in 2008. My parents had a golf store and Jay worked there. I ended up working with him for a few years at the store and we became good friends. We golfed together all the time. He helped me decide what I would take in college (accounting) - I am now a CPA. He helped me sell and buy a new home. He would randomly send me a message asking if I wanted to play golf that day or if I could play in a tournament last minute. We would always have a laugh about something when we would see each other. Jay was a very good person. He will be missed.

Jay worked for us when he was a teenager and we had the privilege to see him grow up. He was mischievous but always had a smile and we just loved to have him on our team. A couple of years ago I was at Walmart in Cranbrook and suddenly from behind someone picked my up and happily said : Mrs Haberman it’s me Jay I am so glad to see you. This was such a happy moment to see Jay all grow up. He showed me a picture of his brand new baby and said I am a dad now. Oh Jay you will be missed. By all the Haberman s and TacoTime team!

Some of the best times I had growing up was with Jon. Playing hockey at the outdoor rink, late night video game sessions and runs to the lake are just some of the great times we had. He was always one for adventures and a great attitude. He always brought more than his share to life and will be missed. So sorry for everyone's loss.

Jay was a tenacious street hockey opponent that showed little mercy when I was in net. Many winter afternoons Chad and I played with Jay, He was always in it to win it while making sure to get his humorous digs in. I don’t know how many goals he scored or how many times I had to walk off a 4’ slapped Jay had launched at me. Will never forget him.
