Obituary of Raymond Kelvin Beneteau
Beneteau, Raymond Kelvin
November 7, 1941 – March 23, 2020
Born in Windsor, ON
Ray passed away unexpectedly at the age of 78 in Cranbrook, B.C.
Ray will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was a journeyman carpenter by trade and was skilled in fine woodworking, as evidenced by the beautiful wooden boxes that he created. Ray put his heart into everything he did and mastered his passions, some of which were golfing, biking, gardening, billiards, reading, and skiing. Ray loved to teach others, and he used that gift by working with the Special Olympic skiers. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce (nee Bondy), daughters Raye-Ann Comeau (Gary), Renee Krafchuk (Corey), and Nicole Holleman (Ed), his grandchildren Jordan and Spencer Comeau, Carver, Aiden, and Rhett Krafchuk and Dustin, Sammy, and Brooklyn Holleman.
Ray was predeceased by his parents Hector and Rose Beneteau and his brothers Stanley and Paul.
With concern for the health and well-being of all, due to the Covid-19 virus, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
