Dear Ida and Family,I want you all to know that every so often I reflect to the 1970s, back to my apprenticing years, out of school and just getting started in life. Boy did I have a lot to learn! Ernie was the one that gave me that first start. His kindness, patience, integrity, work ethic was my start to lifeâ??s challenges and successes. I know and realize how blessed and most fortunate I was to have met, learned, worked and known a man such as Ernie. He was a great mentor to me and others that were under his teachings in the Auto Body trade. Over the years I have thought of him often and thanked him in my thoughts and prayers, how I wish I could have told him and shown him my appreciation in person. I am proud to say my teacher, father like and good friend was Ernie Aitzetmuller. I want you to know that I am truly grateful for what he did for me and am saddened to hear of his passing.
