Dear Margaret,Valerie and I send our love to you and your family. We both remember Alan with fondness; in our eyes, he was both a renaissance man and a gentle man. May your memories be fond as you recall your time on earth together; may your hope be bright as you contemplate a renewal and a perfecting of your relationship with Alan, when once more you are blessed to be together. We pray that such memories and hope will give you the strength to carry on in faith. With love,Valerie & Doug Salmon

Our deep condolences to the Rance family. We knew & appreciated Alan when the family lived here in the Vernon area. Alan was a quiet, gentle man with so much talent that he was always willing to share with others. We fondly remember Alan sharing his testimony as he played the violin at Sacrament meetings. Our love goes out at this time of great sadness to the whole family. Margaret, we know what a great loss this is to you personally. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.Gary & Brenda

Alan, you always got things done better and before us. This time you beat us to the gate again. We have fond memories of your kindness, your talents, your service in the Cardston Temple and your art. I always admired the portrait you made for my mother. I am sure that there will be some earnest opportunities to apply your gifts where you are now.Condolenses to you Margaret and to all the family
