We were shocked and saddened to learn of Beau's passing. After moving to Cranbrook, he was one of the first people we met while shopping for appliances at Sears. Over the past several years, we always looked for his smiling face, grateful for his sound advice and wonderful sense of humor. A void has been left with his passing; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I was so sad to see the passing of Beau in the paper... Beau stopped in the shop where I worked in Sparwood (Elk Valley Precision and Cab) representing Wilkinson Steel. He was the nicest person and I looked forward to chatting when I saw him pull into the lot. Always a smile! He would do anything for us at the shop. Please accept my deepest sympathy. What a wonderful man.

Brenda: You don't really know me but I shop at your Sears store where Beau and you were always so helpful. My husband, Brian, also curls in Cranbrook the same night as Beau. We recently purchased a fridge from you and Beau went to the store after curling on Wednesday night so Brian could pick it up, that way we didn't need to make a special trip into Cranbrook. Now that is service! He was always so friendly and up-beat when we saw him and he always had a smile. My heart goes out to you at this time and I hope you find comfort in the company of your family and friends. I am so sad for your loss.

BrendaIt was with great sadness we heard of Beau's unexpected passing. Our deepest heartfelt sympathies go out to you and your family. I just saw the obituary this moment - so am unable to come to the celebration of Beau's life. We, as a family, remember Beaus always smiling and ready to help at any time. If I saw him on the street I would go out of my way to make contact because that is what he would do. Cailin was home last week for a visit and when Iain called us to tell us he had passed we stopped what we were doing to take time to remember him. He was especially fond of Cailin and she of him.If you do not remember - we are the owners of High Country Sportswear and have known you and Beau for many years. He had a wonderful spirit and enjoyed life to the fullest. We, along with many others will miss his brightness.I am sooo sorry for your loss. I lit a candle for Beaus immediately and hope that you know that we will keep you in our thoughts through your most difficult time.Love, from our hearts to yours Terry & Jeanie Miller and Iain and Cailin MacLeod
