I was so sorry to hear the sad news of Maggie's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Maggie at The Bay & at Zellers. She was an amazing lady & a joy to work with. I think we all got to taste some of Maggie's delicious baking would when she would bring it to work & share it with us all in the staff room. One of my greatest memories of Maggie was when she got her driver's license in her later life & she bought herself a little car & learned to drive it. Keep all of your precious memories within your heart & she will always be with you. My sincere condolences. Lila McGovern

Maggie was a delightful woman with a beautiful soul. I feel a better person for having had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a love of cinnamon buns, her favourite dinner on our late nights working at the Hudson's Bay & then Zellers. She made the best shortbread which is why her recipe bears her name in many kitchens including my own. Maggie was such a nice person, we will always think of her with a smile. Her greatest love was her family and to you all we send our heartfelt condolences. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time, Wendy & Mark Grudniski & family

Maggie was so kind to me when I first started at Zellers. She showed me the ropes so to speak and shared her knowledge not only at work but at home too. My fondest memory was when Maggie invited me to her house with her Family to teach me how to make flat bread. We spent a few hours preparing home made flat bread which is my family's special treat at Christmas. Maggie's neighbor thought her. She shared this with Family and freinds. Of course we ended this afternoon with a wonderful lunch and speciality coffees to celebrate what a good job we did! Thank you Maggie you are a dear soul and I will miss you. Ron, Wendy and families: Thinking of all of you at this sad time with the loss of your mom "Auntie Maggie". She will always be remembered. Sorry I can't be there, however my thoughts are with you all. A card and letter are in the mail. I will always remember her for all the baking she was famous for, and she would always put the coffee pot on whenever anyone dropped in. There are many families memories that we all will cherish.
