My deepest sympathy to you and your family Charlene. Murray was a kind, caring and positive person who I have known for the past 76 years. We started grade one together in 1943 and we have kept in touch until just before he passed. I am proud to say I will forever remember him as a best friend. We visited many times over the years, the last time was at Phoenix in March 2014. I will miss his smiling face and our phone conversations over the years. Proof of his smiling face is in Tribute Wall. From a photo attached from our elementary school days in 1949, to a 1987 photo from our 50th birthday celebration to the photo in this obituary, he never changed. The same positive Murray. Rest in Peace my friend.

My condolences to Charlene and also to Andrea and Gary and your families. I worked for Murray in the early 80's. There was never a moment whenever we ran into each other that he didn't stop to chat and ask about my family. He was always ready to share some of his humour. He was a strong and caring person.

Murray was a very special fellow. I loved working with Murray on an investment idea (Triple Nine) that kept us busy for years! Murray always had a smile and thoughtful ideas, sometimes even with humor! He will be missed by many. His life was a life well lived! Many condolences to his beloved family and friends.

We visited Murray in the hospital a few days ago. He was weak but we had a few laughs with him along with two other friends Gene and Lucille McDonald who were also visiting him. Both Barb and I liked him very much and will miss his smile and conversations. Our condolences to Murray's family at this very sad time.
