I am saddened to read of Mrs. Staples passing. Not long ago I was chatting with Joan Hamilton at the Associates Medical Clinic; she told me that she was waiting for her dear friend, Mrs. Staples. In a moment, she and Darcy came out to the waiting area. Joan introduced us. Somehow I felt that I had always known her...a kindred spirit. I kinda fell in love with her that day! You are honored to call her, "My Mom and Grandma!" A lovely lady!
Mrs. Staples and Joan went out to the car while Darcy sat down to chat with me for a few minutes. I had full intentions to get a ride on Handi-Dart to visit with the two ladies soon afterward. Unfortunately the ol' M.S. has flared and kept me indoors. I should've 'phoned. All the "coulda, woulda, shouldas" are, sadly, too late. I am sorry that I didn't, but I've continued to pray for your Mom and you, Darcy, since that day.
Please know that I really care and offer my heartfelt condolence.
I hope you are doing as well as possible with your health Darcy. I'm glad that you were able to come over from Kelowna to spend time with your Mom. Did a pretty good job at guessing your age, didn't I? ;)
Most sincerely, Lea Cameron
