Obituary of Alina Manarin

1920 - 2012

Alina Manarin passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in Kimberley, British Columbia at 91 years of age.

Alina was born on October 28, 1920 in Arzene, Italy. Alina was a 56 year member of the Catholic Women's League at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Kimberley. She enjoyed travelling and cooking and the occasional game of Chance. Alina was an accomplished seamstress, loving mother and grandmother and is sadly missed by all her family.

Alina is survived by her sister Maria Rovere, sons Herman and Fabio, grandchildren Jennifer, Stephen, Katherine, and Michael. Alina was predeceased by husband Antonio, sister Elda, and brother Luigi.

Prayers for Alina will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Kimberley on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 7:00 pm. Her funeral mass will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012, 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Kimberley. Donations in honour of Alina may be made to Development & Peace Fund - Children's Projects.
