Our condolances and thoughts are with the family as you mourn the loss of your father.
I had the pleasure of meeting your dad as a young high school kid who was welcomed into your family home and made to feel so welcome by both your mom and your dad. Your dad made time to introduce me to his love of sailing and skiing, and your family helped me develop and mature through a difficult period in my life. I always tried to stay in touch, dropping in unannounced on our trips through the valley. Harriette and I enjoyed our last visit with your dad two summers ago, finding him in great health and still enjoying his golf and friends.
Your dad was able to enjoy and share his many interests with you and those around him creating great memories of a life well lived. and we know he will be missed by those of us that had the pleasure of meetìng him.

John Servais posted a condolence

My heartfelt condolences go out to all of cousin Albert's family. My name is John Servais and I live in Calgary. Albert's mother was my dad, Cliff Servais' sister and my own aunt Tina.. My first meeting with Albert was as a child, when he arrived by surprise on our Toronto doorstep at the end of WWII, in full military uniform!. Since moving around the country about 8 times I settled with my own family in Calgary and am long since retired .I have had the pleasure many time of skiing Panorama, and most notably the "Ostrander" run!
Albert outlived just about all the Servais clan from T'Bay, with the possible exception of our mutual Uncle Harry who lived to about 101 years.

Al was a colleague of mine and a good friend while he practised in Calgary and later, when he moved to Invermere with his family. Always pleasant and easy-going, Al was quite a contrast to some of his surgical associates!. I have happy memories of skiing in the Lake Louise area with Al and some of his great kids. I'm not sure if Lorene is still living but if she is, I would like to send my condolences to her and other members of the family. - Gerald Hankins
