"Uncle Al" - "Flipper" - "Papa Smurf"
April 19, 1934 - February 13, 2012
After a long battle "Uncle Al" passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 13, 2012. Dad enjoyed fishing, card tricks and karaoke on Saturday afternoons. Dad had many great friends and will be missed.
Al is survived by his children Linda, Leona, Lise, Lorne, Leonard and numerous grandchildren.
A visitation for Al will be held in the McPherson Funeral Home Chapel in Cranbrook on Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
