Wilf and Lou and Ray and Pauline and families helped out my Grandma (Marge Holmes) for many years mowing lawns, tilling gardens, going to visit to make sure she was ok. They were the best neighbours anyone could ask for. I am saddened to hear of Lou's passing and send my deepest sympathy to Lou's family.

I have been fortunate to have been a relative of this delightful family, which gave me the opportunity to know them all over the years. Wild and Lou were the most loving and caring parents, and that shows so clearly in their wonderful children, and now, their families. Saturday mornings were the best times to catch up on what was happening in everyone's lives & have a coffee - I wish I had attended more often! As Lou missed her dear husband Wilf, so too will everyone miss her so very much. I am sure the coffee pot is on in heaven for Lou and Wilf! Gladys Goss-Laing

Lou and Wilf were such a big part of our family growing up. Their card games with the gang. Lolly & Bob Hockley, Rita & Bill Belding and Charlie & Bella (dad & mom) were so much fun & often at our house. I always wanted to have that much fun when I grew up. The winner of Ramoli paid the babysitter that evening for that couple. Lots of laughs.(Hope I didn't forget anyone?) They were all lovely , fun, kind and enjoyed all the kids. What a wonderful heritage both Lou & Wilf have left their family. A blessed family :heart_decoration: Don & Rhona (Kram) Temple
