Obituary of Violet Janet Marie Yuristy

1937 - 2010

It is with great sorrow that the family of Violet Janet Marie Yuristy announces her passing at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at 73 years of age.

Violet was born on January 1st , 1937 in Hubbard, Saskatchewan. She was a very sweet and caring person with a big heart who thought of others before herself. She loved her children and grand children deeply. Violet was a wonderful and amazing woman who touched the hearts of anyone who met her.

Violet is survived by her sons: Chris (Wanesa), Randy (Lana), Lance (Irene); her daughter Tracy (Rob) Hanke; grandchildren: Crystal, Katlin, Nick, Stephanie; sisters: Ethel Swirsky and Olivine Sufas; brothers: Don (Liz) Ross, Mervin Ross, David (Peggy) Ross, Leonard (Diane) Ross; plus numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and father Mike and Hattie Ross, her brother Freddy Ross, and her husband Nick Yuristy.

A Celebration of Life in honour of Violet will be held on July 8th by her immediate family. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Violet may do so to the: East Kootenay S.P.C.A., Box 2, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 4H6.
