Obituary of Charlotte Grace Amsing

July 2008 - January 2012

Charlotte was born on July 21, 2008 in Cranbrook, British Columbia. After a courageous battle with cancer, Charlotte has started a new journey. On Tuesday, January 17, 2012 she passed away in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 3 1/2 years of age surrounded by people who love her. She was being told about how proud everyone was of her when she passed from this life. She fought an incredible battle and we take comfort in knowing that she does not have to fight any longer. She is in heaven now, running and jumping like she was never able to do here on earth. She will always be remembered for her red hair and the spunk and tenacity that came with it.

She is survived by her best friend; her sister, Yolanda. She also leaves behind her loving parents Robert and Allison Amsing, her grandparents Rick and Rhodea Purvis and Jim and Thelma Amsing, her great grandparents John and Riemke Hiemstra, Jeene Amsing, Clark and Margaret Purvis and Alice Slee, and numerous loving aunties, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service for Charlotte will be held at the Cranbrook Alliance Church on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, please contact McPherson Funeral Home.
