Obituary of Arnold Walter Ellis

1926-2012

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Arnold Walter Ellis announces his passing on Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 85 years of age.

Arnold was predeceased by his wife Millie.

Arnold was born in Cranbrook, British Columbia on February 26, 1926 and will be deeply missed by his sister Eveline Shypitka of Edmonton, Alberta and brother Camille Ellis of Congress, Arizona. Arnold is also missed by Eveline's children Donna Misenas Roth, John (Claudette) Shypitka, grandchildren Sheena Misenas (Dan Churchill), Matthew Misenas (Kyla Eiswirth), Anthony Shypitka, Nicole Shypitka and great child Oscar Peter Churchill and Camille's son Cooper Ellis.

Arnold spent many years logging in the BC Columbia Valley and was well known for his gold mining in Atlin, British Columbia.

Arnold will be remembered with much love by his family and all his many friends.

At Arnold's wishes no formal funeral service will be held.

A special thank you to all the staff at Joseph Creek Village for all the attention and care Arnold received while living there.
