Obituary of Gary Pearson

Gary Pearson February 22, 1950 - October 9, 2015 Surrounded by the love of his family, Gary Pearson passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015. During his life, Gary created an atmosphere of love, mindfulness and inclusion of all of his extended family, his friends, and his co-workers at Fortis Gas. Gary had a zest for life which he approached with optimism, joy and adventure. He loved all of us and always had time to share. Gary loved the outdoors, camping, boating, hiking, hunting and fishing. He especially loved "chicken hunting and huckleberry picking" with his dad Ken and his two grandchildren Justin and Isaac. During ball and hockey season you would be sure to see Gary at the ball field and at the arena. If he was not actively doing something he likely was having an interesting conversation with whom-ever was present. Gary is survived by his wife Lorraine, his daughter Darla (Mike) Sommer and his son Kevin, his grandchildren Justin and Isaac, his parents Ken and Evelyn, his sisters Linda (Lawrence) Arishenkoff and Lorraine (Wayne) London and many other family members. "Everyone Loved Gary" A Celebration of Gary's life will be held at the Kimberley Conference and Athlete Training Centre, 290 - North Star Boulevard, Kimberley, BC on Sunday, October 25th from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
