Obituary of Adelina Custance
(nee Klut)
1930 - 2011
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Adelina Custance announces her passing in Cranbrook, British Columbia on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 81 years of age.
Sue was born in Rosevear, Alberta on July 3, 1930 and lived in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Hinton, Alberta and Cranbrook, British Columbia. She enjoyed both watching and participating in sports and was playing floor curling until her final days. Her team won Gold in the Senior Games. She was also a member of the Fraternal Order Of Eagles.
Sue is survived by her daughter Frances, son Robert, grandchildren Tanya, Madisyn Findlater, Sara Acher and Michael, brothers Art (Evelyn), Hal (Marg), Sam, Ernie (Elsie), Olie (Irene), sisters Hertha Polanski, Selma Standring, Neta (Alex) Olaske, Elizabeth Craig and Margaret Dawson and numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Vernon Custance and her parents.
There will be no service at Sue's request. Those wishing to make memorial donations in honour of Sue may do so to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, 3rd floor Palliative Care, 13 - 24th Avenue North, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 3H9.
