Greg passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer, with his family by his side.

Greg was born July 9, 1974 in Cranbrook, the oldest of four children of Stu and Chris Bailey. Greg was very athletic and played many sports form baseball, hockey, stock-car racing, skiing, bull riding, bareback riding, team roping, and most recently water skiing. The joy of his life was baby Cole and his loving wife Elizabeth. Greg was a certified farrier for over 10 years, guided many hunts in the East Kootenay and operated heavy equipment. He could turn his hand to just about anything from welder fabricator to mechanic. Greg cared a lot about family and friends and you could always depend on him if you were ever in need.

Though his life was short he LIVED it to the fullest.

Greg was predeceased by his best friend Mike, father Stuart, grandma Grace, grandpas Ed, Jim and Jack. Greg leaves his wife Liz, baby Cole, mother Chris, sisters Miranda & family, Lauren & family, and Tori, grandma Alma, mother-in-law Edith and father-in-law

Stu. And many other family and friends.

A visitation for Greg will be held on Friday, December 2nd, 2011 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook. His funeral service will be held at the Eagles Hall in Cranbrook on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Greg's honour may be made to Dennis & Joy Hutchinson in trust of Dalton Hutchinson who has just begun his own battle with cancer.
