Dear Bill and Timmy,
I am so sorry that I don't know how to get in touch with you personally. We are so sorry to hear of Eleanor's death.
We have so many memories of all of you, Timmy, you were just a little boy when we knew you, but your mom and I traded jobs, I baby sat and she did perms so you are always there in my mind, but you are still a young boy to me.
Bill, we have so many memories of you and Eleanor and for some reason they are all connected to times of great laughter.
I will always see Eleanor; following a late bridge game in Trail; driving herself home very slowly, AND SAFELY, by driving right down the middle of the road.
I always admired the way Eleanor lived her life while totally ignoring the fact that she might not see things as well as others of us did. I remember one day when she phoned and asked if I would like my hair cut. I told her that would be very nice. She told me she was in the middle of sewing a pant suit for her mother and had sewn in an invisible zipper (how long ago was that?) and had made a mistake and couldn't see to pull it out again. So, I called in and she cut my hair and it only took me two hours to get the zipper out. She had sewn about 25 stitches to the inch in pink polyester thread on pink polyester.
Our love goes out to both of you and we will hold Eleanor in our hearts.
