Obituary of Patrick Stender

Patrick Stender 1957 - 2015 It is with very deep sorrow that the family of Patrick Stender announces his passing on Friday, May 22, 2015 in Cranbrook at 57 years of age. Patrick was born in Cranbrook on June 24, 1957. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved the mountains, fishing and hunting and was a huge Nascar enthusiast as well. Pat also loved his family and his grandchildren and had a special bond with his mother. He was a cheerful person who was always smiling and enjoyed making others laugh. Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Pat is survived by his wife Arlene Stender; his children Christina (Chris) Giles, Justin (Gina) Stender and Kayla (Adam) Stender; his step-daughter Lori Jensen; mother Peggy Stender; five grandchildren: Dominick, Angelina, Isaiah, Elijah and Izaiah; his brother Michael Stender; sister Tarri Duchscherer and one special Auntie, Joan as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Elmer Stender in 1970. A memorial service for Pat will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
