It is with deep sorrow that the family of Marion Scanland announce her passing on July 11, 2011 just one month and one day after celebrating her 91st birthday.

Marion is survived by her children: Marion (Frank) Plank, Kathryn (Ed) Orth, John (Darlene) Scanland, Ruth (Dom) Alfano, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren as well as many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John Allen Scanland on August 5, 2010.

A funeral service for Marion will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 12:00 pm at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints located at 2210 - 2nd Street North in Cranbrook. Her Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
