WE are so 'shocked' to hear that, Our Dear Teresa has passed away! I have been trying to phone her and never had any luck in her answering my calls. Her phone kept ringing and ringing!!?? I wish someone could have phoned me, as we always kept in touch over the phone and also would visit her at Joseph Creek. My sisters, Phyllis and Louise would always visit whenever I came to Cranbrook, as none of us live in Cranbrook. Teresa and Our Mom, Mary DeFerro, were very close, (like sisters) and Teresa was always there for our Mom while We grew up in Nelson, BC., & We also got married in Nelson with Teresa by our side; helping our Mom. As we all grew-up she was considered as our Auntie and she always felt that "us 3 girls" were her "Nieces".
Teresa's husband, Frank, was our Mom's 1st Cousin. My Mom, Mary Trozzo, & all her Brothers & Sisters, Joe Trozzo, Al Trozzo, Ernie Trozzo, Julia (Jiggs) Trozzo, Amelia (Mink) Trozzo, and Frank Trozzo: - all direct cousins to Teresa through marriage, but all included Teresa as their "Sister". Teresa will be missed as she was very generous and a sincere lady and always loved helping many, many, people and enjoyed her life in Cranbrook, Penticton, and back again to Cranbrook "to be with her husband, Frank." I (Doreen) often visited and phoned, especially when she lived in Penticton. Teresa loved Penticton, but her heart always told her to go back to Cranbrook. Now, she will Rest in Peace with her husband Frank. That was Teresa's biggest wish!
She would introduce us as, Her Nieces and always Say: "I love You & Take Care".
What a Wonderful & Loving Woman! Teresa my Dear: -- You Will Always Be In Our Hearts!
I will "cherish" our last phone call during Christmas! Very difficult understanding her & Teresa couldn't hear very well through the phone.........but we managed............I'm so grateful that we did Our Best, as it was very frustrating at times!
Our visits, were enjoyed, by going out for Lunch or Supper, and especially taking her out to her favorite spot: - "St. Eugene's" !
She kept an old photo of our Mom & Dad with Her and Frank standing together while on Vacation years ago. She became "close family" to us when our Dad (Charlie) passed away and knew our Mom needed help. That is why we became such a close family!
Teresa Trozzo and Isabell Trozzo were "Our" Last Family members left. Now, we have a new angel amongst all "Our Family" Trozzo's mentioned", watching over us.......................Till we meet again.............Teresa! We Loved You!
"Your 3 Girls - Nieces", Doreen, Phyllis and Louise. xoxoxo.

Teresa was in a home in Cranbrook where my Dad was, she was always so very kind. She made my Dad a lap blanket before she left the home, to which I use today. My Dad is in the Pines, I don't want to leave it with him, as I don't want it to get lost. I often think of her, when I put it on to keep warm The heavens have just required another ANGEL! May she REST IN PEACE!.
