Obituary of Kenneth Richard Hudson

Kenneth Richard Hudson January 19, 1958 - October 26, 2014 Ken passed away in his home in Cranbrook, BC after a very short and courageous battle with cancer with his wife, brother and sister in-law by his side. Ken was born in Victoria, BC. He grew up in the western communities where he enjoyed the company of family and many friends, as well as the rural life atmosphere. Ken was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping. Ken and family climbed many a tall peak in the Kootenays and he cherished his annual camping and hunting trips. Ken loved his work as an Iron worker (Local 725) and he made many friends with his co-workers. His last few years he worked for North Star Energy, building many bridges with his partner and good friend Al Davis. Ken is survived by his loving wife Dawn, stepsons Jamie and Jason; his father Allan, stepmother Donna; brother Raymond (Shirley), stepbrother Scott (Leanne) and stepsister Lynn. Ken will also be greatly missed by his nephew Shane and niece Jaylin; grandsons Hayden and Colin; and many other nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his mother, Beatrice Ann on January 9,1991. A Celebration of Ken's Life will be held at The Langford Royal Canadian Legion in Langford, BC on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 4:00 pm. Loved forever and always.
