Obituary of Kathleen Hilda Lamb

Born June 2^nd, 1929 in England

Passed away peacefully on January 7^th, the age of 95 at Dave and Sam’s home with her family by her side.

Kathleen is survived by her five children Rosemarie (Don) Kerr,  Dave (Sam) Lamb, John Lamb, Phil Lamb and Alison (Scott) Donaldson; grandchildren Melanie, Stephanie, Taurin, Shannon, Kelly and Kristy; great-grandchildren Leo, Conrad, Olivia, Malcolm and Winston. Predeceased by her loving husband Alan.

When asked to describe Mom, the following words came to mind: brave, strong, competitive and compassionate.  She was amazing! Mom never backed down from a challenge and challenges there were many being married to Dad (the adventurer).  Mom had incredible energy and perseverance as she ran our family ranch and helped manage the company (Interior Reforestation) while raising her five children. After finally retiring from the ranch and passing on the company reins to “the boys”, Mom and Dad retired on Vancouver Island (Qualicum Beach) where they had many wonderful years.  She loved spending time with her ladies walking group, riding her bike, watching her beloved Canucks, and cruising on their ocean boat.  She was always up for an adventure as they travelled around the world.

 Mom will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
