Obituary of Geoffrey Frank Wright

Geoffrey Frank Wright was born June 20, 1961, and passed away suddenly on October 22, 2024, at the age of 63.
He was born and raised in Penticton, by his parents Frank and Doreen Wright, alongside his sister Janet.
He started his career in Industrial Sales in Penticton before moving to Chetwynd,
finally settling in Cranbrook where he eventually met his wife Debbie. They were married in 1987 and
raised 3 beautiful children together.
For a change of pace, he worked for a local security company until 2018 when medical issues made working difficult.
Geoff loved his family and took a great interest in all the history from both sides of his families.
He also had a great passion for all war stories especially the ones involving his families participation.
Geoff loved everything about older cars and from a very young age took a great interest in the sport of golf. Any free time
had by Geoff, you could bet you would find him on the golf course. He was a life member of the Kinsmen Club of Cranbrook
and took great pride in helping with the many projects that the club undertook.
He was a loving husband of 37 years, and a loving father and loving grandfather.
Geoff is survived by his loving wife Debbie, son Daniel (Sarah), grandson Grayson, granddaughter Avery,
his son Matthew (Suzie), his daughter Rachel (Tyler), grandson Logan, granddaughter Adalyne (his best little buddy).
and by his sister Janet.
He was predeceased by his mother Doreen (2012, his father Frank (2014), and his best friend Frank (2023)
A special thank you to Dr. Chesney and all the wonderful nurses for the care and kindness given to Geoff and his family.
There will be no service at the request of the family.
