I'd like to thank k everybody for the beautiful tributes, some were longer than others, but thats ok. Pat was a great man, he was a kind and gentle man, he also enjoyed playing ultimate frisbee with his boys at his alma mater of Arizona State University. He was a passionate advocate for your right to smoke inside of restaurants and malls, but if course liberals like Justin Trudeau have taken your basic human rights away. On god I hope that man loses the next election. Pat was a fan of the goofy movie and was a big fan of Pete's wife, or something. I love him and I will one day hope to believe to see him in heaven or Jahannam or whatever to that degree, inshallah. I'm sure we could get some more rest knowing he's going to be there I'd imagine or whatever idk bruh he's in Ohio rn (crying emoji skull emoji) please be respect of this man, he was a kind hearted man who loved eating cheese whiz out the jar with his fingers, and he liked chewing his nails and eating them afterwords. Pasquale what does it mean? Pasquale, am I losing my God damn mind? Pasquale. He tried so hard and got so far, but in the end. It doesn't even matter. Alright, I gotta go, see ya big P, goodbye for now, God and Jesus, brother.
Regards, his long-time friend:

I had many great conversations with Pat as we met up walking our dogs in the morning. Pat would always stop to share a story as Tippy led Pat through the neighbourhood. He always had time to share his wisdom, humour and views of the world. I loved the stories of him growing up in the Crowsnest Pass, delivering papers in the early morning hours to make a few cents.
But the best story ever, is the one of when Pat moved to Kimberley to start a family, working at various jobs. He eventually landed a job at Cominco. Him and "Mom," as he used to call Shirley, were young and sitting around their kitchen table, he had his first pay cheque in his hand, looking at the amount for $70, and he says to Mom, what the heck are we going to do with all this money?!
That line will always be with me as I remember Pat.
Pat was the best, and we will all miss him.

My condolences to Pat's family on his passing. Pat and Shirley were very kind and caring people. They were so well liked in Kimberley and area. A visit to their log house at Christmas and Halloween was always an experience with all the decorations and a glass of red wine to warm you up. You will be jiving up a storm with Shirley again. RIP.

Pat was an incredible man. I loved running into him on my morning walk & hearing about his latest projects. He had more energy at 88 than many do at 48. A true gentleman & will be missed. Condolences to his family & friends.

Our condolences to the family. Pat and Shirley were the best neighbors anyone could ask for, always ready to lend a hand whether it was plowing the snow or even getting a dead mouse out of our house because I was too chicken to touch it! We have lived in cranbrook for 20 years but they will never be forgotten.
