Obituary of Maxwell Earl Donaldson
Please share a memory of Maxwell to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Max, who passed away at the FW Green Home with his daughter by his side.
Max was predeceased by both his parents, his only sister Carolyn and his wife Rachel of 47 years. Max leaves behind his son Errol (Lisa) daughter Tsipora (Darren) grandchildren Colton (Paige) MacKenlee (Chris) Parker (Kimberly) and Jasmine (Peter) Great grandchildren Charlie, Scottie, Lenni and Kylan, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins
Max was born in Vauxhall, Alberta, grew up in Cranbrook, BC, and then went to Montreal where he met his wife Rachel. Max and Rachel eventually made their way West back to Cranbrook to raise their family
Max was a man of very few words, but all words spoken were meaningful. Max loved the outdoors and playing and coaching hockey and baseball.
Max did his carpentry apprenticeship in Dawson Creek and spent 34 years working at Cominco.
Max will be greatly missed by his family but will be happy to be reunited with his wife Rachel who has likely been keeping his dinner warm for him for the last 12 years.
There will be no funeral at this time, a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
