In Loving Memory
Bart Anderson
September 8, 1955 — September 15, 2024
It is with deep and heartfelt sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Bart. A beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.
Bart was born in Eastend, Sask. but moved to Cranbrook with his family in the early 60’s.
In Cranbrook after quitting school in grade 9, Bart started working in many places, mainly construction as a heavy equipment operator. You could put Bart on any machine and he would do a great job for you.
You may remember Bart from his many jobs and working with his brother, Hal, to create Southeast Disposal and Contracting. He never really retired as he loved doing what he could for anyone, anytime.
In 1973 Bart married the love of his life, Lita. They went on to have 2 children and lived for 51 years in or around the Cranbrook area.
Bart's favorite things in life were time spent with family and friends, machine operating, hunting, fishing, golfing, poker, traveling, and spending time with his daughter for Friday Rye Day
Bart was predeceased by his dad, Lowell Anderson, mother Ethel Ingram, stepfather Art Ingram, son Dusty, nephew Scott and granddaughter Cheyenne.
Bart leaves to mourn his loving wife Lita, daughter Candi (Warren) McMahon, 2 granddaughters Emma and Paige Borysuk, siblings Connie (Bob) Smith, Hal (Donell)Anderson, Sherry (Vince) Bouvier, Cary (Shelly) Ingram and so many nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held for Bart on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Cranbrook Alliance Church with refreshments to follow.
