With deepest sorrow, the family of Alain Laflamme wish to announce the sudden passing of their father, grandfather and brother in a workplace accident in Melfort, Saskatchewan.
Al was born in Levis, Quebec to Laurent Laflamme and Rose Girard.
Al’s adventures started as a teenager , spending a year in California where he first learned English. He travelled and worked in numerous places across Canada, eventually settling in Kimberley, BC for the last twenty years.
Al spent most of his career in construction and trucking.
Al had a passion for motorcycles and working on anything with an engine, a knack for storytelling and an intense interest in aliens.
Al is survived by his children: Eden (Kimberley, BC), Brock ( Brandon,MB), Cindy and Marie-Pier; his brother Éric (Dominique Simpson) and sister Martine (Gilles Cadorette); nieces and nephews: Lydia ( Alexandre Cote-Pelletier), Mégan (Félix-Antoine Talbot), Gérémy and Émilie Cadorette; aunts and uncles and numerous close friends.
A memorial for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 31 in Meadowbrook on Mill Road at 2pm to honour his memory.
