Obituary of Brent Leslie Patterson
Please share a memory of Brent to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father in Cranbrook BC, surrounded by his children and closest friends.
Brent was born in Wawanesa Manitoba and moved to Kimberley in the early ’70s where he started a long career as a shift boss at the Sullivan Mine. Together with his wife Wendy, they raised 3 children and enjoyed a simple happy life. After the mine closed, he did various jobs including running a lawnmower shop and working in Fort McMurray. Eventually, he semi-retired and started his favourite job driving the train for Kimberley’s Underground Mining Railway. Brent loved a good deal, a good drink, and a good steak.
Brent is predeceased by his parents Pat and Thelma Patterson, his brothers Bev and Craig, and his wife Wendy. He is survived by his brothers Tim and Terry and his children Brian, Bradley, and Amanda.
Brent will be forever remembered for his dedication to his family and the many canine companions he had over the years. His generosity, kindness, and helpful nature will be missed by so many. Our Dad’s unbelievable strength, courage, and determination will never be forgotten.
At Brent’s request, there will be no service.
