I knew Shirley from her years helping with the Volunteer Assisted Shopping Program for seniors, and later had some lovely visits with her in the Green Home. A few more words I would add to her list of fine qualities: kind, helpful and positive. My condolences to the family. Thanks for sharing Shirley with the rest of us <3

My deepest condolences to all of Shirley's family and friends. I work at the Green Home and am very grateful to have met Shirley. It has been a privilege to meet her. I looked forward to seeing her when I was at work, and would seek her out to say hello when I got there. She was cheeky and sweet and I will miss her stories and her smacks on my butt when I sassed her lol. RIP my friend. I know you are dancing up a storm with your beloved Jim!

We would like to send our sincere thoughts and condolences to Shirley's entire family. Shirley was our fantastic neighbor for a number of years and we hold her in extremely high regard, especially our children with whom she created a bond. We will all fondly remember our over-the-fence chats, her white dish cloths and her mischievous nature when she was trying to convince someone to help her obtain cigarettes. She will be missed. I have only known Shirley since she moved to the FW Green home. I loved to joke with her and always commented on her perfume as she wore the same kind as my mom did. Her actions and how she expressed herself reminded me also of my mom. It was like having a piece of my mom with me. I will miss our laughs and jokes Rest In Peace Shirley I will miss you.
