Dear Mr. Pighin, Karen, Eirik, Karrie and family,
I was shocked and saddened to read about the passing of Mrs. Pighin.
I remember Mrs. Pighin helping us set up the Quench lemonade stand in her front yard. She brought us an ice cream pail filled with soapy water so we could wash the cups after our sales.
I also remember the times my Mom and her would have coffee together and she would give me a coffee can filled with rocks to keep me occupied.
I still see her smile and hear her voice calling Eirik’s name when were playing outside and it was time to come home.
Mrs. Pighin had a soul filled with sweetness. May the lessons she taught you resonate in your memory, and you hear her laughter on the days you need it most.
Sincerely,
Julie Fiorentino
