Lucy was the last surviving of the 6 Aunts I and my siblings had. We all loved her and enjoyed visits from her and our cousins. I remember a funny incident one of her early visits when she was hanging clothes on the line and our piglets running around the yard were annoying her. We heard her "mushing" them in Yukon style. Us Alberta kids found it hilarious! We will never forget this amazing and artistic lady.

Lucy and I go back a long time. I lived in Fort Selkirk and Lucy and her family lived at Mica Creek . I can always remember all the Van bibbers coming into Fort Selkirk on election day with their lovely dog teams, all the dogs were matched and there would be be so many people in town . I was an only Child and often wondered how Lucy and all her siblings could get along. I would only meet Lucy once or twice a year but their visits to Selkirk were always a high light.
