Obituary of Spencer Gerald William Cotie

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Spencer, our Bud, on Tuesday March 12, 2024 at the age of 36.

Beloved son to Sherri and Gary. Dear brother to Nicole (Happy). Loving grandson to Bill & Carole Blum and the late Don and Judy Cotie. Proud father to Kaycie(Anya) and uncle to Kieley and Jesse. He will be fondly remembered by his many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He will never be forgotten by his loves of his life and his many fun-loving friends country wide, from Ontario to British Columbia.

His beautiful daughter Kaycie was the light in his life and he loved her fiercely.

Spencer was known for living life fearlessly, always living his life to the fullest and on his terms.

Spencer was an avid outdoor mountain man, finding his first love in skiing. He loved all his motor sports toys, whether it was his dirt bike quad, speed boat, dingo or his mountain sled, not to forget his mountain bike, he attempted many outrageous stunts on, this is where his passions laid. He shared many crazy adventures with his family and many friends.

He always said, "If I can't do it big there is no point doing it".

A celebration of life will be held March 23 from 3:00 - 5:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 199, 4858 Cordillera Avenue, Edgewater, BC. Please come join us and share your memories.

A celebration of life and party in his hometown of Pickering Ontario will be announced at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an Education Trust Fund at the TD Bank for 3 year old Kaycie.
