Obituary of Arlene Gail Moir

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Arlene Gail Moir on February 4^th, 2024.

Arlene was so kind and selfless, and always put her friends and loved ones before herself. Arlene was an amazing baker, making some of the best treats you could possibly imagine. She loved her family and wanted everyone to get back together and make amends like old times. She was a wonderful wife and mother, never expecting anything in return. Arlene was a peaceful, kind, loving and caring soul and she always had stories and memories to share. She loved going for drives with her family, and she was always doting and worrying about her family right to the end. Arlene grew up on a farm in Wycliffe, and loved her plants and taking care of them.

Arlene is survived by her son Adam Moir, grandsons Ross and James Moir, her husband James Moir, daughter-in-law Jessica Daniels Moir, and brother Wayne Bennett.

She was predeceased by her father Ross Valentine Bennett and mother Gelena Bennett.

A graveside memorial service will be held in Arlene’s honour on February 16^th, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Westlawn Cemetery, with a reception to follow at McPherson Funeral Services Cranbrook.
