With heavy hearts we announce the passing of James Curtis Anderson, on January 3, 2024.
James was born and raised in Cranbrook BC, although he ventured out a few times he always found himself returning home longing for the beautiful mountains in the area. He enjoyed working with his hands doing tree service work and construction renovations. He prided himself in his accomplishments and the tickets he was able to obtain including Forest Fire Fighting and First Aid. His pride was spending time with his family enjoying quality outdoor time fishing, camping and exploring. In his younger years you would often find him on the court playing a round of basketball with his friends. Although, toward the end of his life he struggled with Mental Health and addiction that wasn’t who he was. He will be remembered as someone who would do anything for his family whom he loved fiercely, and he will be missed dearly.
James is survived and missed dearly by his children Blake, Zackery, Sydney, Katie and Leigha, mother Ellen , siblings Roy, Laura and Matthew. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
