Elaine was among the most pleasant friends to meet. Always a smile, ready for a chuckle, and did not take life too seriously. She ran her own Kit-Inn business as well as providing a solid support for Bob's veterinary business. We'll miss her good humour and her laughs

Jurgen and I are so sorry to hear of Elaine’s passing. We hadn’t seen each other for awhile but I will always remember the fun birthday lunches we would have in February. Celebrating birthdays with Verla, Betty, myself and Glenda. Elaine was always happy and upbeat as we recalled the year’s happenings. Bob and girls, she will be missed by all who knew her.

What a warm and welcoming place the Kit Inn was . When we used to bring our cats to Elaine we knew they were in for kind and loving care. When we came to bring them home we used to worry that they might ask if they could stay! Thank you Elaine. Our sincere condolences to you, Bob, on your loss.

Many many years ago oneof my cats came in with a hummingbird in his mouth.....I rushed the poor bird to Dr. Clark fearing the worst. He took it home and Elaine nursed it back to health , feeding it sugar water with an eye dropper. Rest in peace, Elaine.

Auntie Elaine, Christmas and other holidays with you and Uncle Bob always meant the world to me. I remember being a part of those special times of the year at your home growing up. The turkey and trimmings, famous gravy and garlic mashed potatoes with French garlic beans is STILL making me hungry right now. Best stuffing on earth. Hands down. Turkey bunwhiches and crokinole after Christmas Dinner together are memories that last for eternity. Thank you for fostering them and many other things for many other people your entire life. Your memory on left on earth is righteous and pure. A woman of virtue and grace and shall be missed until then, every day by those in left your wake.
