I'm so incredibly sorry to heat of Joe's passing. We were roommates in Kelowna General Hospital. He was an amazing man. I loved hearing his stories and his life, his work and most of all his beautiful family. We had some fun days listening to music and swapping stories. Joe my friend you are no longer in pain. Rest well. My condolences to the entire family

My condolences on the passing of Joe. He was a wonderful, dedicated volunteer for nature conservation, and I enjoyed working with him on those occasions when we crossed paths. He left things better than how he found them.

My sincere condolances to Claire and the Messer families. I v'e know Joe for many year as we both were volunteers for Ducks Unlimited . Joe definately was the go to person if you wanted to get something done. He was a strong presense and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace my friend Bettylou
