I was very sad to hear of Frank's tragic death. I first met Frank back in 2006. He was introduced to me by my neighbour who is a member of the Kinsman Club. The three of us were engaged in good conversation before it was time to part. Frank walked me a very short distance to my door. He asked me if I would like to accompany him for dinner, I accepted. We went out to the Casino Restaurant, just on the outskirts of town. Frank shared with me that he was on a quest to find the right partner for a long term relationship. He had been through his share of trauma and had a strong desire to enjoy life. Frank loved to laugh. He also loved the outdoors in the warm summer time, airplanes, animals, children and cooking. At that time, he lived only a few blocks from me in a basement suite apartment. He kept his apartment immaculate and he prepared such delicious meals. I had him over to my home for dinner as well. One Christmas, Frank spent the afternoon making cookies. He made a dozen at a time and placed them in tissue in metal cookie tins he bought from the Salvation Army. He gave me a dozen to take home to my kids. The cookies were so good with nuts and nutmeg throughout. I wished I had asked him for the recipe. Frank continued his quest and eventually found the perfect woman. I believe he took her on a nice trip to California. Frank told me that I deserved someone special in my life as well. When I inquired as to how he came to the conclusion that the beautiful woman he had met was truly the one, he replied, "Make no mistake, when you meet that special person, you just know it. He was so right! When I met my partner, it was as if the Universe already knew. My partner also had the same spiritual experience when he first heard my voice. I saw Frank no too long ago where I asked him how things were going? Frank replied with a smile, "Good" "Good".

Although I did not work directly with Frank- I can certainly attest that his professionalism, friendly demeanour and willingness to always help us out has been a common theme as news has travelled through our organization of this sad loss.
Our deepest sympathies to Franks family, friends and all whose lives he touched. He will be missed by all of his Soroc technology friends.

Such a tragic loss of a very vibrant man. He contributed so much to any organization he was invloved with and will be sadly missed when volunteers are called. On an individual note, he was always willing to help with an challenges a person might have in the technology world. He had just shared with me his excitement about a building project he and friends had worked on at camp a few days earlier. He had some tips for me as I was involved in a similar project at the ranch. He always had a warm exhuberant greeting for you upon every encounter. My condolences to the family. RIP Frank, you will be greatly missed!
