Milton and I grew up together as boys, going to the Y for swimming in his fathers black car. He had a sister named Bev and a cat named Smoky. I was at his house every day. We got split up when I was sent to another school. We reconnected at a high school reunion for DMCI. I remember him saying to someone “ we were like brothers”. It will be to my eternal regret that I didn’t spend time with him. I found the whole reunion experience to be overwhelming.
In recent years I tried to find him on social media and saw his career with the Jets and later, teams in Germany and Sweden but I could not find contact info. I wanted to say “ yes, we were like brothers “ and I will always regret not getting to tell him so.

To Milt’s family and Sigi,
We send our condolences and love.
We have 18 years of memories working with Milt in the rental shop Lusti’s at Panorama.
Milt loved his daily ski breaks and getting to know the young staff each season.

Milt and I had new connections. His first BMW WAS 1992 August 528E around Matlock
I took all my effort to get him to floor it, I guess it wasn’t a Breakaway on the Ice!!

Uncle Milt…
He was such a young and fun uncle. I remember visiting he and Aunty Barb in Matlock and him driving us in his semi truck! We almost bounced out of our seats.
I remember him staying with us when the Jets were in Toronto. I remember visiting him in Germany. He and Barb seemed so young to us as aunts and uncles… thru were endless fun. I second Heather’s comment on his always calling us and our kids on our birthdays. He never forgot any of us. So glad to have had a visit with him in June. An amazing athlete, person and uncle.

Uncle Milt was larger than life to us as kids, and to my two boys who play competitive hockey and thought he was a god and loved to talk to him. But way more than that, I remember his bright red curly hair and freckles, and his laugh that was always at the ready and generously shared. I loved it when he came to visit in Toronto, the sadly few times we stayed with him in Matlock, talking to him on the phone much more regularly later in life, and how he never forgot to call on everyone’s birthday. He was always interested, interesting, and very kind. We will miss him so much. Hope you’re skiing, golfing, listening to music and laughing, wherever you are, Uncle Milt. Love you xoxo
