My deepest condolences to Norma's children (my cousins), grandchildren, and extended family. It has been a very long time since I had seen Norma, but a number of my childhood memories of Norma, the kids, and their grand parents are at the farm, with me helping to collect eggs or getting chased by chickens. Of course those memories are those of a child and I remember Norma and my mom dressed similarly, and my dad and Norma laughed similarly or maybe they had some of the same sense of humour. So much has happened that were only short 'stories' in childhood letters from Heather, and then from other family after I moved much farther away, but family is family. Not always seen and not always close, but just a memory away.

I met Norma January 1989 when I returned to the Valley for work at Fairmont Resort and FRP. Through those office years getting to know Norma was a pleasure. She was dedicated to her job, but most of all to her family. I will always remember that big beautiful smile. There isn't a kinder person on the planet. Sincerest Sympathies to Norma's family, especially to Collin, Heather and Laurie, and those Grandchildren she was so proud of. Wendy Cunningham
