Obituary of Marvin William Stanyer

Following a brief illness, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Marv. He was a man of few words,  a gentle, steadfast, giving person with a heart of gold.

He was a person of many talents and had many interests over the years.

Among his interests, beginning with his profession as a carpenter he enjoyed hockey, gardening, fishing, travelling and puzzles. Often he could be found in his shop puttering or creating a special project. He was always eager to share his knowledge and lend a helping hand.

And of course his greatest love was for his family. Even though he would frown when the noise level rose he loved the get togethers with family and friends.
