Obituary of Bernice Duchscherer

Bernice, formerly of Saskatoon, passed away February 20th, 2011 in Cranbrook, B.C.

Bernice was 78 years old. Bernice had worked as a C.N.A. in Canora, Swift Current and Yorkton. She was the much- loved wife of George (pre-deceased) and raised two sons, Brian and Grant. George and Bernice enjoyed their retirement in Saskatoon, surrounded by loving friends and family. Bernice loved her grandchildren and moved to Cranbrook to be closer to them. Bernice was a proud and active member of the Catholic Women's League since 1975.

Bernice is survived by her sons — Brian and his wife Erna and Grant and his wife Val, along with their daughters Amy and Jade. Bernice is also survived by siblings Mary, Carol, Marion, Elizabeth, Nell, Adeline, Bernard and Norman. Siblings Patricia, John, and Marion are all three, predeceased. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation of Canada, Saskatchewan Branch 1-2217 Hanselman Crt. Saskatoon, S7L 6A8.

The funeral service will be held Friday February 25th - 1:00 pm at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 217 Lenore Drive with internment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
