Obituary of Peter Vitaliano

Peter Vitaliano, age 75 of Cranbrook passed away on June 30, 2023 at East Kootenay Regional Hospital.

He was born on December 4, 1947 in Italy, he came to Canada in 1955, settling in Upper Fraser, BC, where he grew up and went to school.

In 1969 he married Winnifred Quewezance, they lived in Upper Fraser until 1981 when they moved to Cranbrook. Peter worked as a loader operator for Kootenay Wood.

Fishing was Peter’s main hobby.

 

He was predeceased by his parents Emilio and Assunta Vitaliano and by his brother Nick.

 

Peter is survived by his wife Winnifred, their two children Morley (Melissa), and Wesley.

8 grandchildren: Emilio, Keifer, Shaylynn, Brianna, Jake, Juliean, Page, Adam, Kristopher.

2 great-grandchildren Kristopher and Kacey.

1 sister Marie

1 brother-in-law Rocky

His nieces and nephews Paul (Donna),Jennifer, Nicholas, Leah, Todd, Jenna, Amber, Rory, Leslie, Pam, Jazz, Joe, Holland and by many other nieces and nephews.
