I offer my condolences to Allan, Wilf and family as we mourn our loss of Dorial. To me, Dorial was a dear friend, committed to assisting and encouraging me personally as a writer. It was easy to see that she was the same, warm, caring person to all she met, a true reflection of the love of Jesus. She was utterly open and ever seeking to be true to herself within and beyond her creative gifting. Sharon took care of Dorial's mother Marjorie in Rocky Mountain Lodge and saw what a wonderful daughter Dorial was. When she was librarian at Highlands School she was a true mentor to our son Aaron. When she was librarian at Muriel Baxter she was a true friend and colleague and made the library the heart of the school. I truly enjoyed working with her.

Allan, Wilf and family, we join you in mourning the loss of such a dear and special friend. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Dorial lit up the world around her with her bubbling, outgoing personality and truly made it a better place by making everyone she met feel so special. She was the most gracious, genuine person who gave her all to whatever cause she supported. Although not an official Rotarian, she personified everything Rotary stands for and supported Rotary International 200%. We were so privileged and honored to have been close friends; we will miss her so much but will always remember her and all the fun times we had together with great fondness.
