Obituary of Christie Lou Garner

The family of Christie Garner of Cranbrook is saddened to announce her sudden passing on June 10, 2023 at the age of 62.

Christie was a hard worker and worked at the Heritage Inn for over 25 years. Over the years her co-workers and customers became her good friends. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed gardening, golfing, and getting together with friends and family. She loved the colour pink and anything that sparkled, especially her diamonds. She was a little firecracker with a heart of gold and had so much love to give. Christie will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

 Christie is predeceased by her mother Mary Edwards, father Isaac Edwards, her sister Becky Johnson, her father-in-law Harold Garner, and many other friends and family members. Christie is survived by her husband James (Ted) Garner, her daughter Amanda McQuarrie, her mother-in-law Valerie Garner, and her surviving brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews.

A memorial reception will be held from 3:00pm - 7:00pm on Saturday July 8^th, 2023 at the Cranbrook Golf Course.
