Gail Irene LaFleur

February 23, 1957 — June 5, 2023

 

Gail was best known as a Dog groomer, though she also worked in Healthcare, cooking, cashier and other jobs along her path.

Gail loved to travel, cook, garden and brows thrift stores with her sister Pat and was always finding bargains for family, friends and strangers alike.

Gail had a very caring heart and often put others first above her need. She loved raising Stephanie and Quentin and even though some years were tough, Gail always persevered. Gail also cared for her niece Kelly-Ann until her passing, then cared for Pat until Gail passed.

Gail’s brothers and sisters enjoyed a get-together and said they loved the food as she was a great cook, and fondly remember her spunk and zest for life. Special thanks to Laurie Ng for her love and caring.

Gail will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Gail is survived by her loving husband James (Jim) LaFleur, her two children Stephanie (Jay), Quentin (Reading), three stepchildren; Linda LaFleur, David LaFleur, Gerry Lafleur as well as seven grandchildren. Gail is also survived by her siblings Patricia, Hazel, Steve, Donnie, Jack and David, several nieces and nephews as well as best friend Linda Williams.

Gail was predeceased by her parents Laura and Pete Severin.

A family memorial will be held at a later date.
