Obituary of Eleanor Gunver Skailes

Eleanor Gunver Skailes  

October 1, 1938 – May 5, 2023

 

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Eleanor Gunver Skailes (nee Billmark) on May 5, 2023 in Cranbrook at the age of 84.

Eleanor was born in Cranbrook on October 1, 1938, educated as a teacher in Victoria, and spent the majority of her 40 year teaching career in Cranbrook at Central and Amy Woodland Schools, before retiring in 1999.

Eleanor is survived by her loving daughter Jacquie Skailes (Randy Lejeune) of Calgary, AB and her brother Gary Billmark of Cranbrook BC.

 

She was predeceased by her parents, Gunnar and Hope Billmark.
